Dental implants provide long lasting, natural looking replacements for missing teeth.
With a small sturdy titanium post, a dental implant replaces missing roots and secures individual replacement teeth, crowns, bridges or can stabilize partials and dentures. Since the implants are surgically fused to the jaw bone, they are extremely durable and can last a lifetime.
Implants are placed in two phases. During the first
phase, the implant is surgically placed with the patient sedated. Most
patients report little or no post operative discomfort. The restorative phase
is usually done with just a local anesthetic, 
where
most patients state no pain at all.
Candidates for dental implants need to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant(s). Our office has successfully placed several hundred implants over the past many years. We would be happy to provide a thorough evaluation to determine whether dental implants are right for you.
